Fausto holds a Law degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador, an LLM in Business Law from Universidad San Francisco de Quito, and is currently pursuing an LLM in Procedural Law at Universidad Católica Santiago de Guayaquil.
He specializes in litigation and alternative dispute resolution, with expertise in mediation and other conflict resolution methods such as Dispute Boards.
His professional experience includes serving as Deputy Director of National Arbitration at the Attorney General’s Office.
He is an active academic, teaching at Universidad de las Américas (UDLA) and in the Master of Litigation and International Arbitration program at Universidad San Francisco de Quito.
Fausto serves as an arbitrator for the International Center of Arbitration and Mediation (CIAM ECUADOR) and the Consenso Arbitration and Mediation Center. He also holds the position of Arbitration Secretary at the Arbitration and Mediation Center of the Quito Chamber of Commerce.
He is the current President of the Ecuadorian Association of Construction Law and a member of both the Ecuadorian Institute of Procedural Law and the Ecuadorian Institute of Arbitration.
He is a frequent lecturer at various local and international forums.
